The short version

Petal does not collect, store or share any of your data. Everything you log is stored only on your device.

Web app

Your logs are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. They are never sent to our server; the page's security policy blocks it from contacting any server. Our web server keeps standard, short-lived access logs (IP address, page requested) for security, which contain no health data. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Android app

Your logs are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. The app has no internet permission for your data: it never uploads it. Android's own backup may include it if you have device backup turned on.

Backups and exports

Files you export are created on your device and go only where you choose to put them.

Deleting

Settings → Delete all my data, or uninstall the app / clear your browser data.
