A period tracker that keeps your data private
Cycle data is health data. It can reveal pregnancies, fertility treatment and more, so where it is stored matters.
What to look for
- Local storage: data stays on your device rather than on a company server.
- No account required: nothing links your logs to your name or email.
- No third-party trackers or advertising SDKs.
- Exports you control, so you can leave at any time.
How Petal does it
Petal stores everything in your browser or in the Android app's private storage. There is no Petal account and no database of users' cycles. The web app's security policy stops it from contacting any server, so it can't send your data even by accident.
